This morning was a great morning! I woke up, did my usual morning routine and hopped on the scale! (Remember, I’m pushing the Friday Weigh-In Day movement!) I was ECSTATIC to see that I got rid of 10 lbs! (I didn’t lose them, because as my friend Melissa so kindly pointed out I’m not trying to find them again!)
Getting rid of the first 10 pounds is exciting and motivating. A great start to a long-term plan of overall improved health! I’m already looking forward to the next 10 pounds GONE!
If you ever need a little motivation pick up something that weighs the same as the amount you have gotten rid of. Down 10 pounds? Pick up a 10 pound weight? Down 30 pounds? Pick up a large bag of pet food. When you carry and FEEL the amount of weight you no longer carry around it is inspiring! Try it out people and feel free to share your progress and if you tried picking up something that weighs the same as the amount you have ridden yourself of!
